From the I15 freeway exit at Pomerado/West Bernardo Dr. Turn right onto Pomerado Rd and proceed .25 miles to the stoplight at Highland Valley Rd/Pomerado Rd and turn left onto Highland Valley Road. Proceed for 3 miles, Hawks Nest Ranch is the first left hand turnoff before you start climbing up the mountain and is marked by a wrought iron sign.
